- חוֹרֵג, חֹרֵגm. (חרג) (filling a gap, v. חֲרִיקָא, step-son. Snh.III, 4 (27b) (חֹרְגוֹ) חוֹרְגוֹ לבדו his step-son alone (not his relations). Yeb.21a; a. e.Pl. חוֹרְגִין. Y. Ib. II, 3d bot. שני ח׳וכ׳ two step-children (of different parents) brought up in the same house.
